Botsoglou Chronis

Born in Thessaloniki in 1941. He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1960-65) and at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris (1970-72). He was a member of the Art Group ‘A’ (1960-67) and of the ‘Young Greek Realists’ group (1971-73) among others. He has illustrated poetry collections and collaborates with writers. His works belong in the collections of the National Gallery of Greece, the Cultural Foundation of the National Bank of Greece, the Municipal Galleries of Athens and Rhodes, the Vorres Museum, the Averoff Gallery, the Library of the Hellenic Parliament and in other collections. In 1989 he was elected professor at the Athens School of Fine Arts.
