Love shelters and various love stories

Zoumboulakis Galleries present “Love shelters and various love stories”.
Love “finds its place” at Zoumboulakis Galleries. The participating artists seek their own shelter during an unstable period in the times of economic restraints. Unconditional love is one thing that stays unshakable. This exhibition encourages the viewer’s look to seek for something more personal and real.
In 1972, the album “Magnus Eroticus” by Manos Hatzidakis was released in especially difficult circumstances. He later declared, in an interview, that this album was, among other things, an attempt “to rediscover our poetic origin…”. He also mentioned that “high art is always related to love and passion”, ideas that justified his existence.
