Errata

George Lazongas presents Errata at Zoumboulakis Galleries.

In his show, he presents drawings in small as well as larger scales, prints, collages, constructions and video installations, returning to his prior section with the “Bed Sheets”. His works, older and new, become the pretext for interventions or revisions, within the context of the concept “Fault”.

“Errata” evolves upon the idea that a work, even completed, is susceptible of alterations and different readings. In this way it re-negotiates its primary identity. The procedure of transforming, of re-working and re-introducing a work or its fragments is placed within the reasoning introduced by Lazongas’s work.
